Energy Savings Assessment (ASHRAE Level I)

The Energy Savings Assessment includes all of the work done for the Benchmark energy use Report, plus the following.

1. Perform a brief walk-through survey of the facility to become familiar with its construction, equipment, operation, and maintenance.  Photograph and note areas of energy waste.
2. Meet with owner/operator to learn of special problems or needs of the facility.
3. Strategically place & measure building performance using specialized equipment.
4. Prepare a rough estimate to determine the approximate breakdown of energy use for significant end-use categories, including weather and non-weather related uses.
5. Identify no-cost/ low-cost changes to the facility or to operating and maintenance procedures.
6. Building Performance Data Summary and a Graphic Presentation (Temperature, Humidity, Light, CO2, etc.)
