The final step in energy assessment allows a day-by-day understanding of the energy use of a building. The Monitor and Verify service is an electronic program that creates a “smart model” of a building and compares daily electricity consumption and weather data against the building norm. It is designed to capture daily energy use and track the activity:
How does today compare to:
- Yesterday
- The last 30 days
- The last 12 months
- What potential problems lie ahead
Being armed with this information in the form of a daily email or text message alert when data go out of range, we are able to identify areas for improvement, obtain immediate feedback on operational adjustments and remain proactive in controlling peak loads and cost reductions.
